I have painted some sweet and cheerful wild Weiro’s amongst Australian banksia and eucalyptus.
I painted this piece for the Affordable Art Fair late last year and now it has been returned to me and available for my clients.
This painting reminds me of the time I stayed out in Mukinbudin in Western Australia. It is a very dry landscape and wild Weiros and Finches can be heard and seen everywhere early in the mornings.
I went to Mukinbudin in 2024 to teach some pottery classes.
