Introducing 'Jungle Jems' which features Australian Red-Tailed Cockatoos amongst a tropical selection of plants. This piece has also been adorned with Pincushion flowers (leucospermum), part of the Proteaceae family found in the South Western cape of South Africa.
 
I love flowers of all kinds, from all countries, and enjoy learning about the unique qualities that make them special to their regions.
 
Red-tailed Cockatoos are the feature of this painting, a bird my art practice is known for and one I return to often. I have also included some palms, monstera plants and ferns.
