Introducing 'Footsteps Across The Weir' which features Australian Red-Tailed Cockatoos in eucalyptus. This piece has also been adorned with Pincushion flowers (leucospermum), part of the Proteaceae family found in the South Western cape of South Africa.
 
I love flowers of all kinds, from all countries, and enjoy learning about the unique qualities that make them special to their regions.
 
Red-tailed Cockatoos are the feature of this painting, a bird my art practice is known for and one I return to often.
 
A beautiful painting full of variations of pinks, whites, oranges, greens with a pop of yellow. A bold border of gold has been added which I think frames the painting nicely.
 
An original acrylic, oil and oil stick painting on a deep edged canvas measuring approx. 76x76cm. This one is varnished, mounted with wire and ready to go.
