For the real coastal bird lover, here I have painted Pied Oyster Catchers fishing amongst the coast of Dudley Beach Newcastle NSW, Australia. This was part of my 'Gone Fishin'' exhibition at Wester Gallery. (I actually saw Sooty Oyster Catchers during my time in Newcastle, a first for me!).
 
Also featuring coastal banksia, pig face succulent and eucalyptus.
 
This piece has just returned from the exhibition and back to me in my studio.
