Introducing 'Afternoon Calm' which features European Bullfinches in pink tulips. This piece also features a striped tablecloth, yellow flowering eucalyptus, leucospermum flower (south african) and a colourful cocktail.

A pretty piece inspired by European scenes. Painting these works reminds me of travelling through Europe and encountering the beautiful Bullfinch. My breath was taken away as I saw them hiding then quickly flew away.
 
This piece is part of my still life series using blues, pinks, creams and whites.
